IVR-Turkey is the Turkish Section of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy. Our purpose is to promote scholarly work in philosophy of law and political and social philosophy. Our primary activities are holding a scholarly discussion meeting every year and publishing papers in the Archive of Philosophy and Sociology of Law, which is a periodical issued annually.
IVR-Turkey membership is open to any person interested in philosophy of law, ethics, political philosophy, political theory, or social philosophy. Membership requires approval by the Executive Director.
Gülriz Uygur at the Law Faculty of Ankara University is convenor of the Turkish national section.
