Part of Vereniging voor Wijsbegeerte van het Recht (VWR) constitues the Dutch national section of the IVR. The VWR aims at promoting legal philosophy in research and education while paying equal attention to contributing to the public debate. The current chairman of VWR is Hans Lindahl at Tilburg University.
