IVR book prize (2022) for excellence in the philosophy of law and social philosophy

Professor Robert Alexy will be awarded the 2022 IVR Book Prize for his volume on Law’s Ideal Dimension (Oxford, 2021). The Prize is awarded to the best book published on the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy since the last World Congress in 2019.

The Prize will be awarded at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7th at the World Congress on the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy in Bucharest, Romania.

In addition the IVR Prize Committee has awarded Commendations for Excellence in the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy to Professor Pierluigi Chiassoni for him volume on Interpretation Without Truth (Springer, 2019) and to Prof. Maksymilian Del Mar for his volume on Artefacts of Legal Inquiry (Hart, 2020).
